Hi and welcome. I'm Ann Bible, Museum Educator and Lead Interpreter here at the Currier Museum of Art. It’s my pleasure to introduce you to our multimedia tour. Each work of art on this tour is accompanied by information that will help you explore artwork here at the Currier in greater depth. There is also a written transcript of all of the narration. Detailed descriptions of works of art were developed in partnership with the New Hampshire Association for the Blind but can certainly be enjoyed by all. In connection with the four hundredth anniversary of Shakespeare's death, we've prepared a tour called Authentic Fictions: Shakespeare at the Currier. As we expand to include additional works of art in new stops on this audio tour, we hope you'll return to enjoy them.
Thank you to our partners at New Hampshire Public Radio, especially to Virginia Prescott as well as to our funders: The Samuel P. Hunt Foundation and the Putnam Foundation. We'd also like to thank all of our contributors on the Authentic Fictions tour. Please be sure to attend one of our daily docent-led public tours to learn more about our collections and special exhibitions. Information on these tours is available at our Visitor Services Desk or at our website currier.org.
